I don't know if I'm posting this question in the right place or not...

What hair products are ladies here using that are considered safe and gentle enough to use? For years, I had been using volumizing shampoos and conditioners since my hair has always been very fine. These past months I noticed substantial hair loss and quit using them thinking they've been damaging my scalp. I've switched to a gentler brand that's pretty cheap in price. I also end up using a tiny bit of hairspray since my hair is too thin to hold any shape.

Are we allowed to give brand names in the forum of what ladies would recommend? If not, is it ok to message me?

Just wondering what I can use. When I do shampoo, I'm VERY gentle and use luke warm to cool water in the shower (makes for a very quick shower!!) and I don't scrub or rub hard.

Thanks very much...

I use the L'Oreal Everstrong Bodifying Shampoo and Conditioner. they are SLS free and are very gentle and they work really well as far as adding some body too. My hair is very soft when I use them, but not flat.

I have also used Avalon Organics Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner in the past and found those to be very gentle as well.

The L'Oreal is very reasonably priced and if you are lucky and find it on sale, then stock up! it was recommended to me by someone else here on the site (the fabulous VickiG) and I've used it religiously ever since. :)

I use Nizoral exclusively now because it is recommended to stop hair loss. No idea whether it will work, though, since it's only been 2 weeks. I use several hair loss products right now, and have noticed that it has stopped falling out. Good luck!

Hair care products which are free from chemicals are good for hairs. Using organic hair products can be very useful as they are free from harmful chemicals. Internet is the best platform to search for good organic hair products.
