I've been losing hair for the past year. I haven't had any patching but more of a thinning. The thing is that I think I've noticed some of my beloved regrowth (approx. 5 inches at this point :) )falling out over the past week or so. At first I wasn't sure if the shorter hairs were from my fringe (bangs) which I have sideswept. If this was the case, I wasn't bothered but I'm quite proud of my regrowth and it acts as a sign of hope, as I'm sure you can understand. Anyway, I noticed this shorter hair now on the back of my t-shirt which means that it can't be my fringe. The rest of my hair is longer than that too, a few inches below my shoulders, (it was almost to my waist this time last year but I chopped a few inches off last weekend) so I know these shorter hairs aren't from that.

I was taking Nourkrin Extra for 6 months then I decided to give in to my skeptical side and test whether the progress my hair has made was down to Nourkrin or nature. I took a month off. For the first 3 weeks, no difference, then in the 4th week I thought I noticed a little more hair in the comb after my shower. I started on Nourkrin Maintain last week, just in case...

Do you think my regrowth may be falling out because I took a break from Nourkrin? Also, does anyone know should regrowth fall out easily if pulled / brushed gently or should it be rooted securely by that point (approx. 5 inches)? I didn't notice any of the regrowth falling out before I stopped Nourkrin. I can feel my repairing heart beginning to break again if my beloved regrowth all falls out.

Thanks for reading. Love & hugs to everyone going through this too.

P.s. Nothing showed up in bloods so my condition appears to be stress related TE, if this helps.

Just to offer a little hope: I've read that sometimes TE or CTE needs a few growth cycles to regulate itself. So you may get regrowth that is very fine or weak and falls out early, and then a stronger hair will grow in its place as your hair cycle gets back to normal. I'm not sure if stopping the Nourkrin can cause this, but I assume it's also a possibility.
