I've been losing my hair slowly for about 2 yrs now. Recently its been increasing i have hair all over my pillows i can't even touch my hair if i run my fingers through my hair i get a handful of hair. I noticed i kept getting hairloss i couldnt quite understand from where ? I noticed my hairline receding a little but it wouldnt account for all the hair that i loss. So i guess its just thinning everywhere slowly..

Today i decided to wear my hair up which i don't do because it pulls my hair but i needed to apply this lotion so i wore it up. OMG all the hair that was by my neck is GONE. Its all patchy like little baby hairs. I have no hair back there by my neck its like receding 2 inches up. So i remember back then when i used to grow my hair out the hair by my neck area would be super short and the rest of my hair long. Then when i cut it short it would all look even and thick.

I'M SO FED UP ALREADY. Should i just cut it really short ? Could there be to much weight on my hair ? If that even sounds right. Maybe my hairs to long and its weighting the other hairs down. I cant even wear my hair up no more now that i saw what i saw today.

I'm almost completely bald back there. It looks really weird like i shaved that area into a boy style haircut.

I bought regenetresse a couple days ago. I notice it doesnt come with conditioner i used to use so much conditioner before maybe thats for me.

So my question is should i cut my hair short, Do you think it will weight down less and allow the other hair to grow. I never let my hair grow out till recently in highschool i always cut it short for that neck reason? Now its kinda long???

Thanks In Advance.

Typically shorter hair does help to make the hair look fuller. As far as making it shorter in order to help it grow, I'm not sure it hair growth works that way. I could be wrong. LOL
Have you thought of trying a concealer on your scalp as well?

Cutting you hair really short may not work for you since your main issue is the back of your neck. You could cut a little off. Your other hair is not weighing down the hair underneath, so if that is your biggest concern I wouldn't cut it.

I saw your photo. Is that current and does your hair still look like that?

Keeping my hair cut short gives it volume, although you'd never know it in my profile pic. I was having a bad hair day that day. Need to change that pic to a more realistic one. :) But I get a lot of bang for my buck in having undetectable layers cut in and styling it in a way that takes the weight off of it. But I wouldn't cut it above the area that you're mentioning is missing.

My heart goes out to you. I've shed so many tears lately (along with hairs).
