I am SO grateful to have found this site. I have been experiencing hair loss over the last 3 years. I've gone to a few dermatologists and have been told it could be a few different things. Can't seem to get just one diagnosis. Currently using spironolactine but still losing hair. Over the past three years I've lost quite a bit of hair all over, mostly around the hairline. It's grown back over time although this last round doesn't seem to be growing back : ( I've cut my hair as short as I can handle it, (okay, it's just above the shoulders but it's always been so long) but will need to cut a little more to try and disguise the thinning. Most of those around me think I am obsessing about nothing. Why is that always the way? Why can't they understand how life altering it is to be losing your hair? I am happy to have at least have this site to share stories and offer/receive support. I look forward to getting to know you all more : ) Cheers, Nat

Hi Nat, your situation sounds very like mine. I really haven't had much regowth, though, just a little at the temples that keeps faloling back out! I've been on spiro for 9 months, I don't think it's helping. I was told I have TE and AGA - I don't fit either pattern. Quite frustrating, right? And you - we - are most definitely not obsessing over nothing. We care about how we look, how we feel, and it's scary not knowing how it will turn out. Good luck:)
