Anyone tried fenugreek based biofen plus?

Hi all,

I'm still trying to find natural remedies to at least stop my hair loss if not regrow hair and today a registered nutritionist at a health food store recommended a product called 'bio-fen plus'. It costs 60 bucks for a month's supply; you take one a day; and you're supposed to notice results in 3 months. It contains fenugreek, biotin & saw palmetto. She gave me the website:

Which lists the following 'active ingredients':

Bio-Fen Plus active ingredients:


Fenugreek seed extract
Saw palmetto berry extract
Flax lignans
Vitamins B5, B3, B6, and B2
Folic acid
Biotin


But the whole presentation looks kind of hokey....

I was wondering if anyone had tried this or other fenugreek based products and had any luck...

Well saw palmetto is meant to be a DHT-blocker, Vitamin B5 is meant to stop hair loss if it's in the P5P form, and biotin can make your hair shinier and better feeling.

I don't know what fenugreek is meant to do though, if anything? I think you might be better off buying a few bits separately rather than spend that much (very expensive!) on something that's based on an ingredient that might not do anything?

I've read somewhere on here I think, that fenugreek is calming to the scalp (someone recommended it to me for the burning & itching). If it stops or reverses hairloss though, I don't really know....

been taking it on and off for almost 4 years now,my horromones and thyroid are off due to going off birth control. bio-fen plus stops my hair from falling in 3 days,and i get new growth.take it daily for about 3 months,than once every few days.and i get new regrowth within a month.my downfall is my thyroid adrenals and horrormones wont go back together nicely...yet.almost there..yayyy!! so when my hair starts falling ahain, i buy another bottle. you want to stop losing..i definitely recommend this stuff. stay away from pharmaceutical solutions..they make a body acidic.which is defeatest.
