Does anyone know if nizoral shampoo to help block DHT should be used everyday or can it be used every other day? And what strength, the over the counter one is 1% but I have heard 2%. I want to ask my dermatologist, but I have a feeling he probably won't recommend using it.

I use the 1%, and I was told not to use it every day, it can be very drying to your hair and scalp. I use it every other time I shampoo - so every 4 days or so.

Thanks. Have you ever used Tricomin (?) spray? I have never heard of it before. Supposedly was successful in a few clinical trials.

I've never heard of it, I would definitely try a spray. I'll have to look in to it, thanks.
