Has anyone ever had a sample of their hair tested for mineral deficiencies/toxic metals? I live in a very old building (built in 1920) and I have always wondered if the water or paint in the building could be responsible (it started 2 months after I moved in). The iron levels were so bad that it turned the toilet bowl black and the tub went from white to a lovely shade of yellow. The place has also never been tested for lead paint (which I am sure it has, but it's not like I eat paint chips!)I don't know how to go about getting my hair tested and was just wondering if anyone has done it. I'm sure my doc will look at me sideways...again. Oh and while I have your attention...I have endometriosis and switched from Ibuprofen to Aleve (Naproxen) around the same time I moved in here. I have heard it causes hairloss, have any of you noticed things going from bad to worse while taking it? thanks for reading!
