hello -
i have had alopecia areata 3 times. once at age 20, again at 30 and now at 33. previous episodes, i have had success with regrowth via corisone injections.
this time, my derm is saying that my scalp feels dormant and is suggesting that the hair will permanently be gone.
has anyone else experienced this?
i'm losing my hair and my mind and it's so humiliating. i am scared that it's all going to fall out.
