How about Minneapolis ladies? I recently got a perm and my stylist, a nice lady, told me she refuses to perm me for a year and simply won't color at all. Now I really know I am in trouble.

Can't vouch for them personally because I'venever been, but Fantasia salon in Crystal might be worth checking out, esp. if no one else has suggestions. I know they have a regular salon, but they also deal in hair pieces and other things for women with hairloss due to a variety of factors (from cancer to AGA, etc.--I knew someone who went there for hairpiece.) Maybe they'd be more sensitive (or have someone on staff whose better in this way?)
If you find someone you like, let us know

Hi Mia,
Sorry to hear you are feeling so down. I think i noticed somewhere you are in MN. I live in AZ now but lived there a long time. I have the names of a couple great therapists if that is of interest to you ......it has helped me lots. Hugs and prayers are with you! :>

I feel for you... I am in the Minneapolis area myself and have yet to find someone who knows how to cut my hair, as well as be sensitive to my thinning hair. With having thin hair you need to cut every strand just so, so that it lays right, not all stylists can do that. My current stylist has no clue how to cut my hair, but I like going to her because she's a nice person and she has family members with HL and carries some HL concealers in her shop, as well as being reasonably priced. I'm not sure how advanced your HL is but she suggested Merle Norman (I believe there is one in Roseville and in Woodbury) for some nice lace front or pull thru wigs.

I sent the information on Fantasia salon to someone I know living in MN with hair loss. Has anyone tried their services? How are they?
