Spiro and vertigo..

Hi there,

I am new here, and just was curious about spiro side effects. I have not tried this for hair loss yet. I don't think I could take it personally. I was given it about 4 years ago for severe PMS bloating and breast swelling/pain. I thought I had found my miracle drug! But it made me dizzy! I do not have low BP- the dizziness was more like spinning, and some headaches too. It was a nasty feeling and I had to stop. I was taking 25mg 1x day.

Anyone else have this side effect, and did it go away?

I read about another member who had the same problem, she also had to stop taking it. But I think she had low BP too...

Hi egm, just wanted to say that I also had some dizziness when I started Spiro (25mg). I would get this weird "fuzzy" feeling as well. This didn't happen every day, but after I'd say about 2 weeks, it did go away. Ocassionally though, I do get a bit dizzy (I'm now on 50mg), but it helps me if I eat something salty, like chips or a pickle. I keep turkey jerky in my desk @ work :-)
