what dose would be good? already on 150mg spiro & want to add that or fin that I ordered...debating which one to add but also at what dose for the herb..I'm now rambling...anyone want to respond? my hair is dropping like water:))

I used to take Saw Palmetto. You're supposed to take 2 pills (160mg) with meals, I guess. But to be honest, I'm not sure it helped me much. I ended up stopping it after a couple of months. You might want to ask your doctor to increase the dosage of the Spiro to 200mg. My derm told me that it really only starts working when you take 200mg. Good luck!

you know what I think you're right about upping to 200mg of spiro...I'm gonna see a new derm who specializes in hormones since no one in my area says they specialize in hair loss, but his office seems to think he could help me...my derm won't prescribe more than 150mg, she really has no clue about hair loss except the little I've educated her on....praying the new guy will have a clue & up my dose...thanks to all the ladies on here seriously, everyone is such a huge help...

the new dr didn't even think I should touch spiro? uggh why does no dr around me have any knowledge...I'll keep my old dr who has me on 150mg & then try yasmin...
