Men's rogaine and massive shedding

Hi,

I used women's rogaine (not super dogmatically) for over 6 months and I think it helped maintain my hair but I'm not sure about new growth. I took about a month off and I started using men's rogaine (mostly for the foam application) and I used it about once a day. I've experience massive and constant shedding. Has anyone else had this problem? Is this the getting worse before it gets better?

If you check out their website, and go on the web, it is a drug that you're supposed to USE for life, OR, the hair that grew while using Rogaine will fall out. It was originally used as blood pressure medication, and a side effect was that the patients had hair growing on their body. FYI.
