The hair stylist I use works at Allen Edwards in Woodland Hills, her name is Hortencia. She is the most amazing hair stylist, not only is she incredibly talented, but she is EXTREMELY caring and compassionate. I did confide my hair loss to her when I first saw her years ago and she was gentle, would let me comb my wet hair and always did an incredible hair cut. Last year I felt too embarrassed to actually go into the Allen Edwards salon so she made a house call for me! I would recommend her to anyone. Her chair at the Allen Edwards salon is in a good place too, sort of off to the side toward the back. To my knowledge they don't have private rooms, but I am definitely a fan of that salon and more importantly of Hortencia.
