Default Emu Oil

I am new on this site but have read some of the posts. I would like to order emu oil online but want to purchase the purest form possible. Any suggestions on a reliable site?

I ordered mine from Longview farms it seems to be a reputable company for the pure oil. I think the 2oz bottle was 12.95 with free shipping. I am praying it works.

Default Emu OIl

Dear Serenity,
Thank you so much for your reply. This hair thing is so daunting; treatment takes up so much of our time each day with so little results. But we just keep plugging along. So emu oil is my next thing to add to the list. How long have you been using the product? I'll keep you posted on my progress. Thanks again.

I actually just got mine yesterday so I used it for the first time last night. I have heard different things about how often to use it. some say once a day, some say 3 times a day etc. i am only using it at night because it makes your hair greasy and Im not going out of the house with my hair like that it looks bad enough as it is.

Emu oil, is oil from the fat pads of the emu bird. im not thrilled about that part but apparently in austrailia where they do eat their meat, they just harvest the oil as a part of that process. they have found many medicinal uses for the oil such as anti inflammatory processes and pain relief. they say with the hair loss they think it inhibits the dht and if you choose to use another topical along with it it may get absorbed faster. it also has been shown to grow hair around the hairline which is harder to do. there have only been small studies done but I figure why not try it.

» Forum Vs. Network ?
What Is The Difference Between The Network and The Forum? The "Network" is a social network much like facebook and myspace, only it's just for women with hair loss. A forum is more of a bulletin board to post a question or story for others to read and to receive responses. It's easy and direct. I am hoping that the forum will be easy and inviting for those women who are uninterested or find it difficult to do the social network thing.
