Default ROGAINE IS WORKING after 2 months (scalp AND eyebrows)

I am also taking Spironolactone (50 mg) which I started a bit more recently.
It is very subtle for how it's working on my scalp, but I can see some real progress already, and it's only been about 2 months (I was told to give it at least 9 by the Derm). The first 2 or 3 weeks my hair was falling out like crazy, and it really sucked. Even though I know it's a common side effect, I called the dermatologist anyway. And of course, being as well read as they all are, she had apparently "never heard of this side effect" and recommended I discontinue it. WELL SHE WAS WRONG. And I'm glad I continued. My hair looks darker now (people have commented) and it's growing faster already I can see too. Additionally, I AM GROWING HAIR IN THE FRONT, which is something I've heard you shouldn't expect, and I didn't even know I had lost hair there. As for bad side effects, I am using the 5% (foam), so some of the hair on my face that used to be blonde and almost translucent has gotten a bit darker, but I definitely think removing or bleaching that hair is worth the effort of getting thicker hair where it counts. My eyebrows have really improved even more noticeably from using Rogaine, and people have made positive comments about them. I don't think it's time yet for a comparison picture of my head hair, but I can show my eyebrows on here. Sorry about the provocative-ness of the pictures, but these are the best comparisons I can find (facebook!).

(Granted, both times here I have plucked my eyebrows somewhat to help create an arch and I let them grow in a lot before I'd recently plucked them while I was waiting for the Rogaine to work. But I clearly wouldn't have had them grow in nearly this much before I started using it.)

» Forum Vs. Network ?
What Is The Difference Between The Network and The Forum? The "Network" is a social network much like facebook and myspace, only it's just for women with hair loss. A forum is more of a bulletin board to post a question or story for others to read and to receive responses. It's easy and direct. I am hoping that the forum will be easy and inviting for those women who are uninterested or find it difficult to do the social network thing.
